Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Overnox collects, why, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: 16 July 2026
1. Who we are
Overnox (“Overnox”, “we”, “us”) is an AI engineering and infrastructure consultancy. This policy applies to this website and the enquiry, and recruitment interactions you have with us through it. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@overnox.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business:
- Information you provide. When you book a strategy call, request an assessment, or send a message, we collect your name, work email, company, and the contents of your message. When you apply for a role, we collect your name, email, phone, links you share (e.g. LinkedIn or portfolio), your cover note, and your resume/CV file.
- Information collected automatically. Basic technical and usage data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages, gathered via server logs and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics.
- Cookies. We use strictly necessary cookies (for example, to keep an administrator signed in) and, where enabled, analytics cookies. See section 7.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries, schedule and hold strategy calls, and provide our services.
- To evaluate job applications and communicate with candidates about roles.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve this website.
- To send you information you request, and — where permitted — relevant follow-ups.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (e.g. optional analytics and marketing follow-ups); the performance of a contract or steps at your request (responding to enquiries, assessing applications); our legitimate interests in operating and securing our site and business; and legal obligation where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate agreements, including:
- Scheduling — Cal.com, to book and manage strategy calls.
- Email delivery — our transactional email provider, to route enquiries and notifications.
- Cloud hosting & storage — our hosting provider and S3-compatible object storage, where resumes and site data are stored.
- Analytics — where enabled, to understand aggregate site usage.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site and admin area to function and cannot be disabled. Any analytics cookies are used only in aggregate and, where required, with your consent. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Data retention
We keep enquiry and lead information for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period. We retain job-application data (including resumes) for the duration of the hiring process and a limited period afterward, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we need it to meet a legal obligation.
9. Security
We apply security-first engineering to our own systems: encryption in transit, least-privilege access, secrets management, and short-lived, access-controlled links for files such as resumes. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email hello@overnox.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
11. Children
This site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice.
