Delivery Lead / Engagement Manager

As a Delivery Lead / Engagement Manager at Overnox, you own the success of client engagements from kickoff through renewal. You are the person accountable for outcomes: keeping projects on scope, on time, and delivering the measurable business value we promised, while making the experience of working with Overnox feel effortless for the client. You'll manage a portfolio of concurrent engagements across AI engineering, infrastructure, security, and managed services — coordinating founding engineers, managing scope and risk, and being the trusted point of contact for client stakeholders up to the executive level. This is not a ticket-shuffling PM role. You'll go deep enough technically to earn the respect of both our engineers and the client's, translate between business goals and engineering reality, and make the calls that keep engagements healthy. You'll also drive commercial outcomes — spotting expansion opportunities, protecting margins, and turning successful projects into long-term managed-services relationships. This role matters because Overnox's model depends on long-term partnerships, not one-off projects. You are the person who makes clients want to keep working with us — the connective tissue between world-class technical delivery and genuinely happy clients.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end delivery for a portfolio of client engagements — scope, timeline, budget, risk, and outcomes
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for client stakeholders, from engineering leads to C-level, building trust and managing expectations
  • Coordinate cross-functional Overnox teams (AI, infrastructure, security, compliance) and keep everyone aligned on priorities and dependencies
  • Run the delivery cadence: kickoffs, sprint/status rhythms, steering reviews, and clear reporting on progress and value delivered
  • Manage scope and change proactively, surfacing risks early and resolving blockers before they threaten timelines or trust
  • Drive commercial health of accounts: protect margin, identify expansion and renewal opportunities, and support SOW/proposal shaping
  • Capture and codify delivery best practices, templates, and playbooks that make the whole practice more effective
  • Own transitions from project delivery into ongoing managed-services relationships

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years in delivery management, engagement management, technical program management, or consulting delivery leadership
  • Proven track record delivering complex technical projects (software, cloud, or infrastructure) on scope and on time
  • Strong enough technical fluency in cloud/AI/infrastructure to lead credibly with engineers and clients
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements and cross-functional teams
  • Commercial acumen: managing budgets/margin, scope changes, and renewals or expansions
  • Proactive risk management and problem-solving under ambiguity

Nice to have

  • Background as an engineer or architect before moving into delivery leadership
  • Experience in a consultancy, agency, or professional-services organization
  • Familiarity with AI, DevSecOps, or compliance delivery specifically
  • PMP, Scrum, or SAFe experience (as supporting signal, not a gate)

Compensation

The listed range ($150k–$210k + equity) is a good-faith estimate. Final compensation is based on your experience, level, and location, and includes meaningful equity. We benchmark pay against the market and review it regularly.
